Mazel Tov Cocktail is made up of five members. All band members have been playing professionally for years...most of them have been playing together in various groups for almost a decade. Listed below are the members; click on their names to read more about them.

Jen was born and raised in Chicago. After moving to Ann Arbor in 1993 for school, Jen soon realized that she wanted more than an education: she wanted to perform. She fronted several bands, singing lead and harmonies, playing piano and guitar. She now works out of Chicago, stunning audiences in many different venues around the midwest and east coast. Jen has enjoyed several solo residencies at piano bars where people come regularly to enjoy her powerful voice, melodic music, and heartfelt songs. She also works with a full band in Chicago from time to time. Jen truly shines when it comes to singing soulful music by Aretha Franklin, Janis Joplin, Stevie Nicks, not to mention Stevie Wonder and Al Green. Jen is also your contact for all of the business aspects of Mazel Tov Cocktail.

Jeff Gordon is a powerhouse performer with incredible guitar skills and huge vocals. Jeff fronted several bands throughout his professional career as a musician including Tequilla Mockingbird, The Dig, Top Kat, and Serious Johnson. He has played with some of the finest musicians in the country, and has opened for Blues Traveler and Widespread Panic on several occaisions. With a style reminiscent of blues legends Stevie Ray Vaughn and Eric Clapton, Jeff's talent shines in songs like After Midnight, Sweet Home Alabama, Domino, Long Train Running, and Lay Down Sally. On stage he's witty and likeable, a guaranteed sucess at your party.

Nick Adams is as tall as he is talented (he tips the scales at 6 feet 6 inches). His skills as a drummer are constantly being tested as he teaches drum lines for the nationally ranked Mona Shores Jazz Band. He's been the core and pulsing heart for many bands in his professional career. Nick played with The Still for 2 years, putting him in venues across the country, and now plays in Serious Johnson with Matt, Jeff, and Ethan. His stylistic range is vast, playing funk, jazz, rock, and disco, and the enegy he alone can generate is undeniable. Plus he single handedly raises the average height of the band over 5 inches.

Matt's career as a performer is astounding when considering his age. While still in high school, Matt was playing upright bass with some of the University of Michigan's finest jazz ensembles. He now plays electric bass with Serious Johnson but with an understanding of the instrument that one can only get from studying meticulously and passionately. He has made his own way in the world of professional musicians just like he crafted his own instrument. Taking pieces of a larger puzzle, sorting through choices to only use what's important and necessary, and spending time to put it all together in a way that he understands and truly enjoys.

Michael has been a musician all of his life. After majoring in conducting at Illinois State University, Michael came to Chicago to expand his horizons with acting and music in many forms. Michael excels at instruments such as marimba and vibes but adds much needed tamborine, shakers, bongos, and more to the Mazel Tov sound. Michael also provides the third voice for harmonies in the group lending his voice and talents to the full sound of Mazel Tov Cocktail.
